Paul Lewis comes from a family dedicated to the fire department. His father, Harold C. Lewis, was a 50 year 8 month member. His mother Mary H. Lewis was a charter member of the NHFD ladies auxiliary. His grandfather Edward H. Hanley was a 65 year 4 month member and NHFD chief for 12 years.
